Ms. Caplin joined the firm in 2007. Previously, she was an award-winning reporter at Money magazine for 11 years where she specialized in investigative pieces and profiles of business executives, politicians and ordinary families in economic dilemmas. Ms. Caplin was also a documentary editor whose award-winning films appeared on "Nightline" and PBS’s "American Experience" and "P.O.V." She has also contributed research and interviews to several books on personal finance.
