Eric Garland, managing director, research
Eric joined Blue Heron in April 2008 as the Managing Director of Research. Eric has more than 25 years’ experience as an editor of business publications. He was editor-in-chief of Financial Planning, the leading trade magazine for independent financial advisors; editorial director of Adweek magazine; and editor of Warfield’s, a regional business magazine. He has extensive knowledge of the financial services and media industries. He has a BA from Johns Hopkins University.
