Richard joined Blue Heron in 2016. Prior to that, he spent 10 years working as a senior equity analyst and portfolio manager at a pair of hedge funds, both of which stressed primary research and due diligence. Previously, Richard was a financial reporter for 11 years, mainly working for The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones publications. Richard has an MBA in investment management and an MS in journalism from Columbia University.
