Ray came to Blue Heron in 2015 with more than 20 years’ experience as a strategic advisor, research analyst and technology journalist serving software, finance and public relations clients. Before joining Blue Heron, he delivered primary research, competitive intelligence, product research & development, and M&A strategies for US, European and Asia-Pacific technology/telecommunication companies. Previously, he served as research analyst at Ziff Brothers Investments, a family investment firm, for more than 11 years. He has a M.Sc. in Information Technology from Cranfield University, an MA in the Sociology of Contemporary Culture from York University and a BA (Hons) from De Montfort University. He has appeared on CNBC and written for Business Week and the Financial Times.
