Jelena joined Blue Heron in 2017 as a Research Correspondent. She has more than a decade of experience in security, defense, and energy, working in analytical and managerial roles on projects with several Western intelligence and defense agencies. She holds a PhD in war studies from King’s College London. In addition to English, Jelena is a native Serbian speaker.
